The inaugural Motors & Masterpieces festival will celebrate the entire automotive spectrum, with ten individual classes providing a showcase for a tremendous selection of the best-in-breed examples.
Set for the Melbourne Showgrounds from November 22-24, the event will feature classes such as La Dolce Vita, which encompasses legendary Italian makes such as Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lamborghini, and beyond.
Meanwhile, Swinging London will incorporate the best of British, including machines such as the Mini, Type E Jaguar, plus classics from Aston Martin, Lotus, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jensen, and more.
Beyond those two sections, Continental Classics draws upon the incredible depth provided by the rest of Europe’s motoring powerhouses.
The selection of vehicles that can be displayed is immense, covering the best of Post-War Europe – expect to see vehicles such as the Mercedes Gullwing, Porsche 356 and Alpine A110, amongst many others.
Germany will undoubtedly be a feature, with a huge array of vehicles available from some of the world’s top marques.
Expect premium examples from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen to enter. The festival will also have a considerable French influence, with classics from Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, and Bugatti.
Further afield, Volvo and Saab can represent Sweden, while Spanish SEAT and Pegaso can also mix it up on the Concours floor.
Beyond the three Eurocentric categories, Motors & Masterpieces will also have specialist classes representing the USA, Japan, Australia, the Golden Age of Motoring, High Society from the 1930s and ‘40s, plus modern Supercars in Monaco Glitz, and motorsport favourites in Chequered Flag.
