When is the Motors & Masterpieces Car Show?: The event runs from Friday 22 - Sunday 24 November 2024. 10am - 5pm each day.

Can we buy tickets at the door?: There are no ticket booths at the show, but there will be someone available to assist you in buying tickets online. Regrettably, for security reasons we will not be accepting cash payments.

Is there parking available?: Yes, ample parking is available at the Melbourne Showgrounds for a flat daily rate of $20. There will also be dedicated spaces for disabled parking. Visitors to the Show should enter via Gate 7 off Langs Road.

Is there public transport available?

Yes – please consult Public Transport Victoria’s Journey Planner for your most convenient route.

Pedestrian entry to the Melbourne Showgrounds is available via Gate 1A off Epsom Road.

Tram : Take the Route 57 tram (West Maribyrnong to Elizabeth Street, City) and hop off at stop 32 - Showgrounds Village Shopping Centre on Epsom Road.

Bus : Two bus routes can get you to Melbourne Showgrounds. Route 472 (Williamstown to Moonee Ponds) stops along Langs Road, and Route 404 (Footscray to Moonee Ponds) stops on the corner of Epsom and Ascot Vale Roads.

What cars and motorcycles are eligible to enter this classic car event?: There are classes for cars and motorcycles from the veterans of the early years of motoring all the way to the modern classics of the 70’s and 80’s. There is also a class for modern supercars. The curatorial board could accept exceptional cars for display from later than 1990, but these cars are not eligible to enter the Best of Show award. Given that there is a limited number of entries available in our classic car event, only cars with significant provenance and importance as well as in superb condition are likely to be accepted.

What can we expect to see at this classic car event?: You will see the most amazing prestige, classic and vintage cars and motorcycles designed and built over the past 120 years, from all around the world.
